JONAH | GOD'S SCANDALOUS MERCY

Jonah is not primarily about a fish, nor Nineveh, not even about Jonah himself. Rather, it is about enjoying God's scandalous mercy and sharing His mercy with others even our enemies. And for us to enjoy this mercy ourselves we must reconcile both God's justice and God's mercy. For this to happen, we must understand the book of Jonah in light of the whole Bible which points us to one greater than Jonah.
